This morning, National Geographic Orion docked at Apia, the capital of Samoa. After two days at sea, the opportunity to stretch our legs on land was welcomed by all. Guests enjoyed a hearty feast of traditional Samoan food for lunch followed by an afternoon at the cultural centre and a stroll around the colourful city market. As the sun set over the South Pacific, we were treated to an exhibition of spectacular fire dancing on the dock.
