During our enchanting visit to Ajaccio, we embarked on a captivating full-day excursion that revealed the hidden gems of Corsica. We journeyed first to the picturesque town of Cargese, renowned for its stunning blend of Greek and French heritage, where the azure sea and charming streets set a perfect backdrop for exploration. From there, our adventure continued to the awe-inspiring Calanques de Piana, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. These rugged, red granite cliffs rising from the Mediterranean are a testament to nature's artistry, with their unique shapes carved by wind and sea over millennia. The interplay of light and shadow on the rocky outcrops created a mesmerizing spectacle that left us in awe. As we navigated through this breathtaking landscape, the panoramic views (and the skills of our drivers) were nothing short of spectacular, offering glimpses of the crystal-clear waters below.
