Sarah was raised on a multi-generational family dairy farm, established circa 1815 in Lucas, Ohio. Consequently, her first paying job was milking cows! Rewarding as it was to get paid for the first time, she found her passion behind the lens of a camera. Growing up on the farm gave her not only a strong work ethic but also the love of nature and being outdoors.
During a photojournalism study abroad program in Scotland, through Ohio University, is where Sarah realized the creative potential of video. It was there photographing the Highland games that opened her eyes to the power of sound and motion.
In 2005 Sarah started her own freelance business in Seattle and since then has been producing videos for Lindblad and other clients all over the world. When not working she’s having fun with her wife and new baby daughter spending time outdoors, finding new recipes and sampling new beers.
