Pat Druckenmiller
Pat’s interest in the natural sciences, especially botany and geology, was cultivated while growing up in rural Wisconsin. Pat worked four years as a naturalist for the Wisconsin State Parks and attended the University of Wisconsin-Madison where he received his B.A. in Botany in 1991. As an undergraduate, Pat worked for the UW Geology Museum as a museum assistant and fossil preparator and led several field expeditions to the western US to collect vertebrate fossils, including dinosaurs and marine reptiles. In 1992, Pat moved to Bozeman, Montana to attend graduate school in vertebrate paleontology at Montana State University. For six years he worked as a paleontology instructor and crew chief for the Museum of the Rockies Paleo Field School and received his M.S. in Vertebrate Paleontology in 1998. Pat has been with Lindblad Expeditions since 1993 in a number of different geologically attractive locales. His other interests include skiing and Celtic music.
