Kathy Dragon

Kathy Dragon has spent more than two decades in the adventure/experiential travel industry. She’s developed and guided small group tours for active adults worldwide. From Bhutan to Belize, Croatia to China, Patagonia to Portugal, Ladakh to Lithuania, India to Indochina, Slovenia to Spain, she’s been there and personally escorted more than 3,000 guests on life-changing adventures.

Kathy thrives on designing trips that allow for authentic experiences involving rich cultural connections. She believes why we travel, where we travel, what we do while we are there and when we return home, can effect positive change in the world. Kathy own her own company, offering private, active, culinary focused tours around the world. In her spare time she consults and speaks in the travel, hospitality, and food/wine industries and recently with The World Bank on Agritourism project. As the onboard concierge for National Geographic Orion, Kathy will share her passion for connecting travelers with inspiring local activities at cities, towns, and villages around the world.

Her home base is beautiful Boulder Colorado where, when not traveling, she can be found on the trails and in the mountains; running, hiking, cycling, and skiing. She’s a passionate photographer and travel gear and technology geek.
