Isak Olafsson

Isak was born and raised in Reykjavik, where his love for nature and animals began early. From a young age, he used every opportunity to explore the outdoors and be around animals, which led him to work on a dairy farm and later as a zookeeper. Isak's passion for nature and environmental conservation has driven him to engage in various environmental projects in Iceland and attend conferences both domestically and internationally.

Isak received his BSC degree in biology from the University of Iceland, where he had the opportunity to work with birds. This work involved ringing the birds and monitoring their behavior. While studying, he earned a license to work as a park ranger in Iceland. This role allowed him to explore the country in a way he had never before.

Today Isak lives in Lund, Sweden, where he is working on a master's degree in biology with a focus on conservation biology.
