Christine Shea
As a licensed massage therapist, ski instructor, massage therapy instructor, and registered yoga instructor, Chrissy believes that a combination of healing work and teaching is her true calling. She graduated from Boston University in 1990, with a B.A. in Anthropology. From 1994-1996, she served as a U.S. Peace Corps Volunteer in Thailand as a rural middle school teacher. While living there, Chrissy was introduced to the healing benefits of Traditional Thai massage and attended her first course at the Old Medicine Hospital, in Chiang Mai in 1996. Chrissy graduated from the Utah College of Massage Therapy in 1997 and began teaching Thai Yoga massage workshops in 2000. She has been a NCBTMB instructor since 2012 and has continued to hone her knowledge and skills by repeated study trips to Thailand.
In her private practice, she specializes in Thai massage sessions, Deep tissue, Reflexology, Cranial sacral therapy, Reiki, private yoga and Hot stone/chakra balancing.
In recent years, she has been deepening her studies by following her own unique awakening process through practicing and sharing her love of yoga. Her transformative yogic path consists of blending Vipassana meditation, Thai bodywork, mindfulness, contemplative living, Kundalini, Hot yoga, restorative and vinyasa yoga.
Chrissy invites new and experienced clients to participate in her massage, bodywork, and yoga practices. She is here to serve any individual who is open to receiving her healing and harmonizing talents, skills, and gifts.
